Location matters in Córdoba, mostly because the old city is small and prices inside it are high. A few hotels sit directly facing the Mezquita — expensive, but hard to beat for sheer position. The Judería has better-value boutique places in restored buildings, some with proper patio gardens. The Parador, just outside the walls beside the Alcázar, is the obvious mid-range splurge. Beyond the historic centre, prices drop sharply but you'll be a 20-minute walk from most things. Book early for the Patio Festival in May and Holy Week: everything fills fast and rates double.
Wondering which neighbourhood to base yourself in? Our best area to stay guide compares Judería, San Basilio, the Historic Centre and Arruzafa so you can pick the right base before browsing hotels.
